The Baby Ballerinas Have a Special
Lesson Lift, leap, twirl…lift, leap, twirl. The Baby Ballerinas sighed as they tried the difficult dance step again. As much as they loved ballet, they wanted to play outside today, tying sunbeams in their hair and picking caramel apples from the enchanted apple trees. Just then, a warm summer breeze blew open the door of the dance studio and twirled the surprised baby ponies around and around--until it twirled them out the door! They spun into the apple grove, where the magical trees joined the baby ponies for a dance. When the dance was over, the Baby Ballerinas rested against the trees and nibbled sweet caramel apples. It was a wonderful ballet lesson indeed! |

| UK Backcard Story "Heavy hooves and muddled toes" sighed the Baby Ballerinas, "We'll never get these dance steps right!" Suddenly, one baby pony had an idea. "I'm going to tie a ribbon bow underneath the heel of one ballet shoe!" "How will that help you get the steps right?" laughed her friends. "Well, I don't want to tread on my ribbon bow, it would spoil it so..." "So, you're dancing on one toe!" the other Baby Ballerinas cheered as they watched. "Just call me Baby Toe Dancer!" said the proud baby, prettily pointing her toe. And, they did! |
