Flutter Ponies were released in the US and Canada for the 1986 and 1987
years. Featured prominently in the movie the Flutter ponies were a smaller delicate pony with beautiful iridescent wings. These wings when inserted into their slots would flap when you pressed a button on their back, allowing them to fly. Sadly, these wings were also very fragile and many did not make it past the first few days of children playing with them. Finding flutters with intact wings are rare and having one with a pair of wings vastly increases the value of the pony. The first release of Flutter ponies came with a flat sticker in the US or
a round puffy sticker overseas. The first release flutters came with a silver or gold metallic ribbon. All Flutters came with a flower pick with painted centers on the flowers. |
