| Megan & Sundance have always been
released as a set. The first set came out in 1985 followed by a So-Soft
set in 1986. They were released in a Twice As Fancy Sunshine Version in
1989. - That was the last set released in the US. The UK had their own
version of Megan and Sundance which was different from the US version.
Megan and Sundance were also available in several Mail Offers. Sundance's name was recycled in 1997 as one of the new G2 Ponies. She has a separate Page HERE. |

1985 version Megan came with a White dress with pink ribbon trim, white lace panties, 2 Pink shoes and a wide pink ribbon in her hair. Sundance had a pink velvet bridle with a white flower with yellow center and pink leaves and an aqua ribbon. The set came with a round puffy sticker, blue flower brush and blue normal comb. -There is a very rare version of this set that came with a pink velvet bridle with a white flower and green leaves accent. - I believe this version came from Sears. They had the exclusive Megans' Place playset - and it has a picture from the catalog showing Sundance wearing the green leaf bridle. ---------------------------------------------------------------- 1986 version Megan came with a White dress covered in a purple floral print with dark pink ribbon and white lace trim, white lace panties, 2 Pink shoes and a wide dark pink ribbon in her hair. Sundance had a dark pink velvet bridle with a white flower with yellow center and pink leaves and an pink ribbon. The set came with a flat scented sticker, blue flower brush and blue normal comb. ----------------------------------------------------------------- 1989 version Megan came with a shorter white party style dress with pink lace and Sundance's symbol all over it. She also had dark pink shoes and white panties and a pink ribbon for her hair. Sundance did not have a bridle in this version. They came with a Dark Normal Comb. |
