My Pretty Pony
Release Info: |
My
Pretty Pony was first released in 1981 and continued release through
1983. The pony came out under the brand name Romper Room under the
license of Hasbro. While the pony is not officially part of the My
Little Pony line it is considered the predicessor of My Little Pony.
The pony was hard plastic and stood about 10 inches tall. They had a
trigger under their chin that when you pulled it the pony wiggled it's
ears, winked it's eyes and swished it's tail. The first release was a
brown pony with a flaxen color mane and white accents, later she was
joined by a peach(pink) version with pink hair and 7 pink hearts on her
rump. There is also another version of the brown pretty pony that has a
