Star Gleamer

Release Info:

Star Gleamer was released in the US and Canada in 1988 as either the third set of Princess Ponies or the Second Set of Brush 'n Grows or both, it depends on how you look at it. The Princess Brush 'n Grow Ponies were an unusual set. First there were only four ponies in the set two earth ponies and two pegasus. Second, except for the jewel in each ponies forehead there was nothing that made these ponies stand out as Princesses even though they were titled such, even their backcard story did not call them a Princess.

Backcard Story

Star Gleamer

One night, Star Gleamer floated through the sky on a fluffy cloud, admiring the twinkling stars above her head. She brushed her long, sparkling hair as the cool wind gently tossed her lovely tresses. "Your hair is so beautiful!" a star exclaimed, sprinkling stardust on Star Gleamer's forehead. The delighted pony shook her head, and the stardust became a golden headband with a glittering jewel in the center! "Now you twinkle just like me!" laughed the star, wrapping a beam of starlight around the happy pony.
